There aren't any alternates because the skimmers are specifically built around the pump's. The sicce psk2500 has issue's and thats why i don't carry that pump. The atman is pretty good. I had one batch that had some issue's due to the impeller being to large, but other than that they are solid pump's. There is something in the works for the 180 cone pump wise but it may be a few mths.

Bubble Blaster 3000, screws right on, perfect replacements. Mines been running great for the past year, so glad I tossed the psk.

I think mine is the MSX so I'm not sure if that makes the difference but it screwed right on for me.

Logzor is talking about the previous models, the swc160, swc200, swc250 and swc300 extreme's. They all ran sicce psk2500's. You can replace the pumps on those with a few diff pump's as the pump's are external. The 160 and 180 cone's are diff as the pump is internal and the body was drilled to be at the height of the pump intake. Those models are not going to be easy to modify, it at all.

I'm not sure on the new pump for the 180. I'm sure it will be available but may come with a diff base plate.

Still no update. I will say if you need a new atman pump for a 120 cone or 150bmk or 160 cone you can find a very cheap alternative to the atman. It goes like this. Atman 1100 = via aqua 1300 and you can find the va1300 for under $20 online. The atman 2500= via aqua 2600 which you can find for under $30 online. This should save some money in replacements. And then all you do is take a flathead screwdriver and pop off the impeller top and put it on the new magnet.

Not so much on the 180 but i do hear its suppose to have the sicce 1000 in it eventually. I believe the 160 will have the sicce 600 in it january 2013. I just didn't want to post until it was official. Its just taken forever. I know so many people would like to see a new pump in these guys.
