reef it up.
absolutely beautiful. Great job.
I have an all LED setup as well and I'm curious to know how long do you leave your lights on per day?
Hi
Thank you so much for checking out this thread. I have to thank ReefLEDLights for posting this and my buddy Fernando Matias for taking such a beautiful picture of my reef. To answer your question about how long I keep my lights on well here is my schedual.
Cool whites: 12pm-7pm
Royal Blues: 11am-9pm
High noon XP-G: 1pm-4:30pm
All the lights are controlled by my Reefkeeper power bar
Thanks again

Beautiful tank! Love the pair of Bellus? Angels! Did I really see 6 Tangs, including a Naso, in a 200DD?

I was curious because I have 96 crees on my 125g and it's 4" above the water line with no optics. I have them on a 12hr schedule and at about 55 percent intensity on my RKL. My buddy told my my corals look pale or like a pastel color so I'm trying to lower my lighting schedule slowly to about 8 hrs total.
Currently for my tank I have my LEDs on full intensity. I have each 12 LEDS strings on a potentiometer. At the aclimation period i had them on low intensity then i gradually increased to full. I noticed if i lowered my intensity my corals didn't look like they were doing so well. I wanted to point out also for your fixture maybe it depends on the amount of blues vs whites which gives a different look on your corals and running them without the lens you may lose some light. My fixture is about a foot above my water line and my LEDS all have the 80 deg optics except for the XP-G's. One thing i'm working on is to create a shell for my fixtures. The XP-G's having such a wide lens(125 Deg i think) cast quite a bit of light to the surrounding. This is why you see the temporary foil paper which acts like a shield. Not the prettiest but will do for now. Let me know if you figure out the right settings for your setup. Thanks again.

Hi
I do have 2 types of Angels in my tank. One is the Japanese Swallow Tail angel and the other is a Wantanabe's angel. As for the tangs, I have 3 large Yellow tangs, 1 Blue tang and one Blonde Naso in the custom Deep Dimension(48x36x27). Everyone is peaceful for now. The Naso is my show piece and yes he is very big.. The DD from Marineland comes with 2 corner flows which i didn't like so much. So i had Miracles Aquarium in Toronto custom build me this tank. It has a coast to coast external overflow, 2 drains, 2 returns, 3/4 inch front Starphire glass, regular 5/8" sides and bottom. Im very happy with the tank. Thanks again for posting your comment.

Tank looks great but the lights are kind of an eyesore , I would try and conceal them in a canopy or custom casing.
