Here is the best shot I can get of my Black Hole Sun acan under the Maxspect Mazarra.

Here is a shot with the Channel A off. I wish I could capture all the tones but seem to have a tough time getting the camera to capture it.

This acan always looks good but looks most striking when under these LEDs.

Lumen Bright Large reflectors suspended over the aquarium. This makes it easy to raise and lower the reflectors.

Last month I finally got around to finishing up the removable canopy panels. Well almost...

This is what the canopy looks like with all the 3 panels removed. I really like this because if I need to I have full access to the whole tank.

Shot of the inner side of the removable panels.

This is what the inside of the canopy looks like with two of the three panels are on it.

The finished side of the removable canopy panels. Will work on sealing them over the weekend.

Still have not finished putting on the last bit of trim along the top but the panels mount better than expected for a real finished look.

And I still can remove all panels for full access all the way around the tank :-)

Updated shot of the tanks filtration which includes the xp3000ext recirculating protein skimmer with auto-shutoff collection container, biopellet reactor (currently BR110) and Ozone Reactor.

I added our new skimmer accessory to my XP3000ext. Two of these neck extensions added another 6" to my neck. The neck is truly a foam tower now for super scum extraction.

My Mazarra P lighting went up once again over my frag tank. This time I swapped out the optics to the 100% ones and it make a world of difference. Should have done this when I got them. Now the two units completely light up my 40 breeder. I have finally started playing with the weather modes which I think are cool especially with multiple modules over the span of the tank enhancing its illusion of clouds and overcast.

The closed loop pump resides in the overflow but its intake is plumbed into the side of it which is drawing water 6-8" below the water surface. Everything that skims off the water surface is entering my sump for filtration.
You can see the screened intake of the closed loop in this picture.

Picked up this red goniopora from a friend that is tearing down his tank. Haven't had one of these in years and hopefully I can successfully keep it in my system.

    ...and some random shots
The spotted cheek wanted to get into the photo as well.
