Noticed one of my seahorses got trapped buy 10 of these brittle stars and I am not happy about that.
They are hard to catch and I want rid of them.
What are their natural enemies or are there any chemicals to get rid of them?
Thanks for your help.

Used to love em and I strongly believe they are important to your eco system but just not a good companion for seahorses.

Unfortunately, I have 3 tanks hooked to 1 sump so even if I eradicated them from the seahorse tank they would be seeded again by the other tanks.

On a somewhat related note, has anyone every noticed that sometimes seahorses can have cyano grow on them? I have noticed this. Some seahorse keepers have used a toothbrush to clean it. Maybe that is why the starfish were attracted to them?

I knew about algae type substance on their bodies. One of the reasons cowfish or boxfish nibble on seahorses or puffers is that they like munching on algae. :)
