My tank is only going to be a 24x24x20. Do you think one will be to much? It's going to be 90% sps.

I use 2 on a 48x24 tank. 1 is perfect for a 24x24 area. And with 400 watts (I think 400 watts are usually under driven though, so its not really using 400 watts) you can hang it higher and not worry about heating up your tank.

Pic of the ballast x2:

I am definitely interested in one of them. Can you tell me how the radiums look in person driven on this electronic ballast? Also how bad do you think the light spillage would be on a 24 x 24 rimless?

The pic in the original post are the fixture over my tank, but the pic still makes it look bluer than real life. Its not that blue in real life. 20,000k look. Runs the bulbs a little bluer. The 400 watt radiums supposed to be bluer coz they are supposed to be under driven. Light spillage not bad. I had alot more spillage when I was using T5s. You can point the LEDs depending on the width of your tank.

Sounds good. Is it possible to easily switch the ballast?

Yes. If you want to change to 250 watt, all you need is a different ballast. It's the standard 3 prong socket. These ballasts are completely silent.

Silent? Did you get them at P.A. Did you but these new.
They might not be the ballast I was looking for to pair so would you sell one with out the ballast?
