Re: Selling Everything 240g tank, 150g frag tank, etc Shreveport

OK, so I just got a job offer that I can't refuse and i would like to sell my tanks and move. The tank is located in Shreveport, LA

I would prefer to sell everything at once, to preferably one person, and I will price it all accordingly. I am still at work now, but hopefully by the end of tonight i will update this thread with the latest pictures after I get everything cleaned up. Everything is currently set up and running well. This tank has been set up for 2 years. I will only piece it out in very large chunks, for example if someone wants all the livestock and rocks so that I could take the tank down then I might do that, reallllly want to sell it all at once.

What it includes: EVERYTHING to run a tank.

240g acrylic reef tank with double overflow on a nice oak stand all custom made by midwest custom aquatics, this stuff was $4700 new. 3x 400w MH with newish Ushio bulbs and large lumenarc reflectors. Only two of the blueline electric ballasts are currently working, might be a wiring problem, dunno. 4x Koralia 4 powerheads, 2x 60" T5 lights with reflectors and ballasts, and all the hardware to hang the lights from the ceiling.

150g frag tank that is 4x5' and about 9" deep. this tank is glass and home made, but really nice. with an oak stand and a really nice storage area underneath. Note that this tank needs a double door to go inside. 2x 400w magnetic ballast with 2x 400w ushio magnetic bulbs with large lumen bright reflectors. 3x Powerheads, I think one is a sicce 3.

150g horse trough sump which holds all the support equipment. Auto-top-off with RODI, the filter guys double reactor, calcium reactor with digital guage and relay switch, 2x CO2 tanks. like 10 power strips. Lots of heater of all types.

2x reefkeeper 2 systems in various states of working.
1x Reefkeeper mini that works perfect
~250 lbs of rock in the main tank all completely coraline encrusted.
    ~80 lbs of dry rock
~150 lbs of live base rock in the sump

~$2000 worth of corals in the main tank of all types.
~$1000 worth of coral frags and such in the back tank.

about 10 small fish, a large yellow tang, a large hippo tang, a large blue line angel, a nice christmas wrasse, and all the inverts you would normally find in a tank this size, some cleaner shrimp, lots of snails and maybe a few hermits, some sand sifting starfish and a really nice blue linkia.

SWC 2S Cone skimmer which skimms the whole 500g system and keeps it pretty clean.

    red sea max ozone generator.

Reeflo pump, I think it is a barracuda, I have it outside running the returns from the sump back to the two tanks.

All the plumbing, with lots of true union valves, probably $1000 worth.

    3-4 salt buckets

A unique display stand with room for 2x 30g tanks and a sump with all the plumbing and a small built in light. I was using this as a qt tank, it's awesome. Stand is custom made out of dark stained cherry comes with no sump, but I do have the octupus 250g skimmer that i was using with it.

9 gallon acrylic tank, i think a nano wave?

Then all the nicknacks that a person would collect over 4 years of having a reef tank, these add up to $1000 at least but theres no way to add them all up, everything I have would be included. All cleaning supplies, extra food, some chemicals etc.

Price: Everything, you come and get it $4400. Feel free to make an offer but i think that's pretty fair? I don't know. I bet that if someone bought this and then brought it back to dallas they would get closer to $10k for it.

If someone wants say, just the frag tank, or just the livestock I could do that too.

What's the dimensions of the 240g? Do you have pics of the other tanks as well?

OK, here are a TON of pictures, this is by no means everything I have, but it's a decent overview. I promise that whoever buys this will not be disappointed. The door on the frag tank is easily fixed with a small piece of wood behind it I might have time to get that fixed.

It is an imgur album for now, I will work on embedding them.

I have got a little interest, but nothing solid yet, I would really like to at least sell all the live stock and then move on the parting out the equipment if I have to.

I as thinking 1300. It's got 400 lbs of very nice Rock so you're basically paying 500 for everything else.
