I have had a neon green toadstool for over a year now and it is about the size of a baseball. The problem is that the tentacles barely poke out. I have a tan one in the same tank that has long tentacles that flow with the current. Any advice? Thanks.

They seem to do that from time to time for no odd reason. How long has is been?

It has been like this since day 1. :( I have tried changing flow, lighting, etc. and still little nubs.

Could be the difference in the Toadstool. Meaning one is the long tentacle and the other is short. Do you see the filter feeder ends on the short tentacles?
