What is this SPS? I dont even know where to start...

I bought this as a brown frag for peanuts a few weeks ago. In my tank its starting to colour up really nicely. But I have no idea as to what it is?

Here is a photo showing the body of the coral:

The colour is more or less accurate. What I mean is that there is a metallic sheen that I cannot capture on my now kind of old Nikon D70. The body of the coral is starting to turn more and more purple from brown. As you approach the corallites or maybe they are small branches, the purple changes into a bluey metallic sheen. The polyps are an amazing skyblue/green.

Here is a second photo showing the top most tip:

This is under my full T5/LED lights.

    Many thanks.

And yes, I did adjust the photo but only to bring the colours as close to what I see in the tank. The actual coral is much better looking but I just cannot capture all the colours.

I'm not sure if you're looking for a trade name, but if I had to guess species, I'd guess Acropora tortuosa. If it ends up having a tabling growth pattern as it gets larger (unlikely, judging from the pic), the corallite structure is somewhat similar to Acropora austera as well.

It's way too small to get an accurate idea of the species. If I were to guess I'd say Acropora valida, based on the coralite shape, green polyps, and purple body.
