Hello Reef2Reefers!

So we have made some big progress lately on our new 1,000sq.ft. coral farm and we'd like to start sharing it with you guys! We will keep updating this thread with more pictures and maybe even a few videos as we get closer to completing the farm.

Some specs:
  • 4 - 132" x 60" x 18" Propagation Tanks
  • 1 - 144" x 48" x 30" Show Tank (for growing colonies)

  • 1,000 square foot building

This farm will not be open to the public. It will allow us to propagate corals like never before. We will be able to stock the retail store, website, live sales, ebay, etc. with hundreds of different frags simultaneously. We will have the space needed to propagate all the rare corals that are currently growing in our show tanks. It will also house new quarantine setups and receiving tanks for fish and corals. We are very excited about this farm as we believe it will take us to the next level and enable us to provide you guys with a much more diverse and much larger selection of WWC corals.

We plan to have the farm complete in the next few months. It will plumb into our existing systems, so no cycle.

We still have to:

Finish installing lighting, plumbing, water pumps/powerheads, frag racks, etc.
16' shipping and fragging area.
Setup receiving tanks and quarantine.
Plumbing R/O and Salt VATS to the systems.

We are expecting the sumps any day now and the A/C will be running next week so we should have part of the system online very soon!

Here's a few pictures with plenty more to come!

I am glad to see more of the top vendors on here doing the coral farms. This really increases the end product to the consumer which is always a good thing. Can't wait to see those tanks fill up.

And I thought my new farm was coming along nicely... Same square feet but your tanks are awesome!
