Before and after of my baby!!! with a little white balance, exposure, contrast, sharpness and saturation. I'm impressed. This pics took me less than 5 min. I didn't put much effort and still looked ok. I hope this helps a lot of you improve you pic skills for when you need an id or if you have a problem.

Really glad to hear of this tutorial. Can you find these jewelry loupes locally? If so, where?

Thanks!

I just picked up a 10x, 20x, and 30x set from amazon. I have a galaxy s2 skyrocket. Getting ready to try this. I also have a point n shoot I'll try this with. I'll post pics in a bit when my lights come on.

Here are a couple point and shoot pics before/after. Shot with the galaxy s4-thing rocks. I have a portal but rarely use it with pics. In edit I used auto color adjust. Will usually play with exposure and tempature sometimes also. Not a huge difference.

I have an iPhone 5 and have yet to really get a decent zoa shot..I've bought 2 different 3in 1 lens for it...not a huge fan of having to move the zoa smack dab in front of the glass...but maybe ill try again tomorrow have the day off...does anyone use a certain camera app to get clearer/better quality pics?

on my s2 i use the 10x loupe with the zoa next to the glass, and then use an app called photo editor to edit it. i add a little to the contrast and saturation but other than that i don;t do much else.

Realized a cool technique last night with my galaxy S4 (not sure how this method will work for older models-might make it blurry.?.) But it works for the S4. I was having a hard time wi5h the point and shoot mixed with trying to zoom in for a somewhat macro shot. So I took the photo in my previous post and cropped out a single zoa. As I cropped down it created a zoom in affect and turned out looking great. Nothing was changed to any of the settings for the pic-all auto.
