I really didn't know how to edit my phone pics until I read through this thread. Thanks for everyone that chimed in! Here is a pic I took today, and the same after I edited it. I don't have the colors right yet, but it's closer to what it really looks like (I obviously over saturated a bit). I'm just happy to have a way to rid that dam blue that overtakes every picture. Now to practice, practice, practice

Camera on macro mode
White balance on cloudy
Under t5 lighting

No editing no crop no saturating..

If anyone is using a Samsung Galaxy S3, try the snow/beach scene. I found that it does a great job of balancing the colors under heavy blue LEDs. The Daylight white balance preset works wonders as well.

I have tried and tried again with a cell phone. The iPhone just doesn't do well with LEDs. My buddy has the galaxy note and takes great pictures.

There are these plastic gel films I use of all different colors you hold in front of cell phone to valence out the blue of leds.

here are a few shots taken with galaxy s4 with gel filters in front of the lens under all blue led (no white light) some with macro lens some top shot and some just normal zoom

Anyone taking some pics with the iPhone 6 or 6 plus I'm thinking of picking one up if they take good pics of z/p that's a huge bonus

my lfs has an iphone 6 plus and he would have me come take pics of his coral for him with my s4 so he is now getting an s5 just to take pics. i did get him some gel filters and his pics are alot better but still not as good as my s4

Just wanted to share some of my shots on my newly bought zoas... I use my SAMSUNG Note 3 neo and set it on HDR with auto ISO and here are the results...

I wish apple would realize filters are not a means of photo editing, just a way for girls to feel artistic when they take photos of their starbucks.
I need to get a good camera, but 14 is that age where parents don't buy you things because you're too old, but you can't get a decent job because you're too young. :frusty:
