All water parameters great but the past few days some of my zoanthid polyps are staying closed.

Anyone have possible explanations ?

Thanks

There could be many factors. Parameter off, fish picking at them, nudis, light. Have you done any changes?

If they look like they are developing a brown film on the closed ones then consider a peroxide dip to clean it off. I did this to a few fresh cut utter chaos frags the other night.

I'd personally do it now before it becomes too late. Better safe than sorry! Looks like a fungus outbreak to me.
