Zoas wont close, are they dead?

They wont close, they look almost buckled over, I can take em out of water, touch em, feed em, doesn't make a difference. 2 frags doing this, here's a pic

They don't look dead to me but will follow this to see what others say

Open zoas are generally accepted as a sign that they are healthy. The "umbrella effect" (convex rounded face), may be due to the polyp reacting to a change in light intensity.

I also have another colony that has a couple polyps doing this, but I was under the original impression that it just meant they were healthy also. Thanks guys!

They look fine.... if they were closed up and looking milky white and sloughing off fleshy layers, or if they keep getting smaller and turning black, that's a sure sign they are dead or dying.

Normal. I have some zoas that stay open even if a snail touches them. Some close if you get close. I have even had some frags be open in the bag from shipping.

Zoas are very tough. If they are open, they are doing good!
