Long lashes or short lashes?

What do you prefer on your zoas long lashes, or short lashes? I only like long lashes on certain zoas/palys. Like I wouldn't buy lunars or space monsters if they had short lashes, but I wouldn't buy utter chaos if they had long lashes.
But do you think zoas should only have long lashes or only have short lashes? And why do their lashes vary if they're the same species?

I have the cb rockstars and every one loves them. They have long lashes. I think they are cool but definitely not my favorite. I don't think it matters I like them both

I noticed the lashes on my zoas became longer after I increased the flow in my tank; so maybe flow is a factor.

My utters have longer lashes than most of my other zoas. Here's a frag that i recently cut. sorry for the terrible pic. I'll get a better one of the colony when i get home.

I don't mind both either the only complain I have with long sometimes is they can take away the beauty of a polyp

Like someone says, I think flow is the main factor on skirt length.

To me doesn't really matter but I like short

I also believe that higher flow will make the lashes longer. I have a pretty substantial flow in my tank and it seems all of my zoas eventually get long lashes.
