The skirt starting to grow on the middle is kind of weird... no ideas on that. But the inflated skirts for some reason make me think of salinity... what are the params?

Water parameters will greatly effect the ways the skirts look. Some tanks yield short, puffy skirts, while others tend to have long, thin skirts. That skirt growing from the middle of the polyp is really odd... never seen anything like that. A few people have claimed that their polyps have actually split in half in addition to growing a matte of new polyps. Perhaps this is what's happening?

his params are
Alk 7.7
mag 1470
cal 480
sg .26 but sometimes goes to 28he said because he doesn't have an ato.
I told him to get an ato but he says he has no money but every time I come over he has some new corals!

My people eaters do this all the time, usually when they puff up they end up dying. I think its a water quality issue, I've stopped using rowaphos or any GFO and they've seem to not puff up as much and are now growing again.
