Mine are at medium depth and medium flow, under T5 bulbs. They open up really nice and color is beautiful, but they are slow growers for me. I bought it as 3 polyps and I still only have 3 after about 3 months.

Water condition is important along with low to medium light I had mines uptop and they shrunk. Now on the sand bed they seem to be getting bigger and more pop under my t5's

in my tank they grow well in high light but look better in lower light...I got these from Sexy mike when they first came out. and not once have they look stressed, upset, or unhappy....one of my favorite for sure

I've kept mine high up and low and both seem to have good growth. I made 2 frags (1 and a 2 polyp) frag and now both have 3 polyps. Frags were cut Feb 28, 2012. They were played in my sand bed at the time. To me, the most important thing is if they like your tank conditions.

I have mine all over the place. Sand, top, it's not too picky with lighting or flow to be honest.

Currently have over 40. They are pretty fast growers for me especially after fragging. Middle of the tank half way up medium flow T5
