A few new shots... I added a scarface to the mix so as the lights dimmed for the night I got some shots. This was taken as the amber, red, green, clear white and cyan were off. royal blue, blue, natural white and UVs are on.

Photos taken with HTC vivid cellphone.

On a side note... that snail is literally on top of my mandarins... thought it would be a great picture with the three of them and he rained on my parade... then as I was going to get some more shouts... as you can see my cleaner decided to wreck shop and closed up the polyps... My livestock are attention whor*s

Kinda like this

Excuse the out of focus of this crop but this wasn't the original composition of this shot. Also note that this was ATI blue+ and ATI blue special. The halides were out. There were 0, zilch, nada LED lights or it might have been even more distinguished yellow ring.

Most of the time it's all corals that are enhanced by LED. Specifically blue LED. That's why before the whole LED as a main lighting source took off, all the vendors at frag swaps used blue LED strips in their frag tanks.

I can't replace my lights for a comparison photo... what you see in my pictures is what I have. I have a CAR... it's a few inches a way. It has been closed for a couple days but you can see it in the photo... I must have a bunk CAR?

I wouldn't say that. There are many different "strains" of corals. Because there are many different collection sites. Even more diversity when you think about the number of tanks out there and the different morphs they undergo in those tanks. I mean look at the photos I posted. They look completely like different corals and all I did is change their lighting and flow. Those started as a 2 polyp frag and I grew them in my tanks from there. So I don't have different morphs from different suppliers. Like I said they came from Gonzo and he has one of the best CAR morphs around.

Looks like a lot of people are going to be able to post pics of Bowsers with PZ's recent promotion. I can't wait to see what everyone shows off. :)

I traded for a couple with SniperSPS the other day as he is local to me. My picture skills are terrible. Sorry for all the blue. Maybe I can get a friend to come over and take better photos. Clearly these are different when seeing them in the same tank as my candy apple reds. The bowsers have more pink than red, and yellow that the Candy Apples don't. Although I do agree that different lighting and parameters do cause these corals to morph and change color. But all I can say that these are way nicer than the Candy Apples, at least the ones that I have, although my wife said she could hardly tell the difference but eh she's not into this like us nerds.
