Lots of interest, so here are the details.

I took pictures of the unit and any of the "issues" with it:

1) I chipped the corner of the base when removing from my stand. Only affects the appearance :)
2) The clip for the "in" hose broke at one point in time. This clip is secured to the unit through the top and was siliconed back into place. It does not leak. I've used it this way for months.
3) I had to repurpose an old power supply for this as the original went out. It is the appropriate spec for the motor and works flawlessly.
