So I'm in the 4th week of a new 31 biocube. Have live rock since day one and a cuc for about 4 days.
I have white specs on the glass that, from my searches, seem to be copepods. My water is pretty cloudy. It looks like white specs. Could it just be the same copepods that are on the glass, floating around the tank?

What grade of sand did you use. Super fine or oolite?
If you have it use the bio magnet included in the bag.

It could also be a bacteria bloom maybe. Maybe.

The specs on the glass move. But the ones floating in the water...well
are moving in the current. Not sure if they are alive.
I didn't use the thing that came with the sand. I believe it was live sand, but don't know exactly what kind.

If it feels like grainy powder it's oolite and made your tank cloudy for days when you put it in. If it's like sugar or sand it's med or fine. Sugar sand they call it.
In the bag usually is a thing called a bio magnet or clearer. It's actually bacteria.

It could I suppose be a big giant bug bloom to. I'd love pics and video. That would be great to see.
I've had a bunch but not make it cloudy.

On hint you can also try to back light the bugs. Have someone else or you hold a flashlight on the side of the tank and point it at the front. Take pics or vid of the swarm but don't shine the light into the camera.

Does thebtank have any smell is the next thing.

Yes I've had a diatom bloom.

I'm having trouble getting the video to attach. So here are a couple pics.
Not as easy to see as the video though.
