JBJ 28 cube help!

I have the tank only and I can't find a stand. I looked up the dims on the 29 gal tank stand and it won't fit...? Am I mistaken?

If anyone knows where I can buy a stand please let me know.

Hey my friend. IMO IME you are not missing out at all. The stock stand for the jbj was pretty but soooo unworkable. It's very very cramped. No room for really anything including power ato res. Dosing etc. I personally think you can do better DIY or with a larger standard stand.
But if you want stock in my area they come up regularly on Craigslist and in the local forum.

i used the coralife stand. I didn't like the feel of JBJ's stand. it actually broke when I was trying to assemble it. big yikes. Coralife has a bit more room and is nicer IMO

Is there a lip where the tank sits? If I decided to put a sump in there would it fit?

it's a flat top.

Okay next suggestion - lighting??

I want to keep SPS corals in my tank at some point!

the stock lighting (for the intermediate series, not sure which you are getting) worked very well on softies and duncans. I haven't tried SPS so I can't say if it will grow.

Wow I got the stock stand for my JBJ 45 gal it was sturdy and felt strong but I sacrificed two inches by putting 1x3 strips on the inside sides and top. The sides support the top. Ain't going anywhere but now I have a 18 by 18 in sump in there and I'm full ( but that's ok I'm happy

maybe the one made for 45 is better? The dowels that "held" The wood together snapped. a few of them did- it was so weak and flimsy. and one side split down the middle when I was piecing them together. So yea.. Drs F&S was happy to take it back and send me the coralife stand.

There is no dowels on the 45. They are screws but strong mine is fine so yeah I say it would be good for a 28

Does anyone have experience or feedback with the Rapid Led kit for a JBJ 28 gal biocube it would be appreciated. Secondly what would be the mixture of lights to purchase to support SPS corals.

I have watched multiple videos on YouTube, but wanted to get further feedback.

Just received my Coralife 29 gal stand and come to find out the bio-cube I have doesn't fit the tank. For example - if I put the front of the tank flush with the stand I will have a 1" lip on the back of the tank. I can always just shift it forward a little bit and off set that, no issue that I see.

As I was digging through my old equipment here's what I have so far:

JBJ ATO
Jebao WP10
EVO Quad clip led fixture - in photo

Wants:
Skimmer - thinking about an aqua max
I have a media basket - need to figure out what I will run
Nano rock
I have sand that I need to wash thoroughly
Hopefully in the next two weeks I get the tank wet and cycling!
