What's an AEFW? I'm guessing from context it's some type of parasitic flatworm. Is that right?

Edit: Nevermind. Acro Eating FlatWorm. Mods can delete this post. Thanks.

Cheers,

Awesome! And remember to look for the little underline with certain words. Hover your mouse pointer over them and they will give you the meaning.

For example: R2R Alk TDS
I usually read on my cell phone: I don't think the mouse over works. I'm glad this is a sticky so I can refer to it whenever I need to. Is there a similar list of terms/glossary?

Been in the hobby going on 3 years and have recently encountered a nitrate issue. Or at least I think it’s an issue. I have a 210 gallon reef tank that currently houses 1 large rabbit fish 1 large tang and about 8 smaller fish. I am pretty regular on water changes and all coral is open and looks amazing. During my last weeks water testing I’m getting a reading of nitrates that show 60 ppm. I use a Red Sea nitrate test kit. This has been an ongoing issue with this tank as my nitrates are all over the place. Last month they were 30 ppm and a month before that they were 80. Yes I am using the test kit correctly. Last thing my phosphates are .25 very low. Ammonia 0 nitrites 0 calcium 500. Salinity 1.026. Temp 78 degrees. Question are the nitrates eventually going to kill the coral ? And any explanation why the spikes ?
