How often are you changing the floss?

First off, get rid of the filter floss. Or change it every day.
You don't want to have anything that can possibly trap detritus.

Okay I will remove the bioballs, I just have them in there to stop the water fall sound effect.

I checked a couple days ago and can't remember but it was really low

That could be the answer to your problem with NO3. If PO4 is to low, you'll have no reduction of NO3.
There must be a balance between the two nutrients, search Google for "Redfield ratio reef tank".

The corallife stock pump is 265 gph. I somebody said they would recommend a 300gph pump, would that really help much.
