I dont think you will be seeing an update any time soon...

Without telling us any personal info, are you able to tell us if the tank is still running and if he is alright? Hope he returns to reefkeeping if he has left the hobby for now. I've followed his tank on RC and always enjoyed his posts. :(

Yeah he is all good healthwise but as for his tank he only has fish in there right now…and a few jawbreakers... Me and him both had our tanks go down at the same time… We think it was due to a few things but narrowed it down mainly to a possible bad batch of salt... (We both bought the same batch of salt on the same day ) I was able to save some of his LPS in my tank for him but as for right now I don't think he is going to be back fully in the hobby anytime soon...

Thanks for that. Its a shame the tank went downhill. He had a VERY nice SPS collection. Will be nice when he comes back to the hobby.

Been awhile. Long story short, lost my sps and pretty much my whole tank besides my fish and Jawbreakers. Bad batch of salt, combined with a rouge bacteria infection, cuppled with complete apathy and things went downhill quickly.

The tank never went dry and I kept it running even when you couldn't see inside it. Yes, it got that bad :( I knew sooner or later I'd get back into reefing as I love the hobby way too much to not have a tank running.

I recently moved into a new house and have been collecting once again. Switched to radions and for the most part couldn't be happier. The tank is nothing like it once was but it's getting there and I'm enjoying things as I go. My focus is now more so on LPS and my Magnifica anenome that I was graciously gifted by dbarsotti! Lots of ups and downs with this thing but I can honestly say it's the most interesting reef animal I've ever owned, and is pretty much soley responsible for reigniting my passion for the hobby.

Gave some of my nicest lps to reefer831 to hopefully save, then pretty much never heard from him again.

Sometimes the biggest adversity is just getting back up on to the horse. Glad you stuck it out.

Some random shots of my tank and some of the corals. I need to get a new phone with a better camera!

Some more, really liking the radion g4 pros. Never thought I'd stray from MH
