I just picked up some new zoas at my LFS and they're awesome, 4 polyps and a baby.
I'll post up a picture when I get one that shows them off

These actually seem to be different from Dante's hornets, which is what I thought they were, yellow ring around the blue mouth, not orange. So not Dante's hornets, nicer in my opinion :D

What do you think? Anyone know what it's called? (This isn't an ID thread but if anyone knows the name I'd appreciate they tell me)

How much were they? Could they be black hornets? Is the skirt fine strands or stubby like other hornets? Maybe rainbow hornets? I've only seen those one so I don't really remember. How much was it? That might help narrow it down.

Black hornets don't have ablue centre, yellow ring around it, and red skirt lol.
I searched rainbow hornets but it's a pretty loosely use name used for many different types.
If nobody knows what they are I'm calling them GLaDOS Hornets.

image1.JPG image2.JPG image3.JPG I, also recently purchased some zoa's from my LFS and would like to show them off a little bit. I do not know the name of them so any input would be greatly appreciated! Oh, and these pics were all taken with my iphone so they aren't too shabby if you ask me.

Black hornets - looks like blue center and yellow/green ring to me. Maybe I'm color blind. Skirt is yellow here though.

But from your pic, I think they look a LOT like these...
