Looks good!

Thanks sir!

Gotta love more real estate!

Absolutely! And I am sure I will fill this real estate up quickly.

Just spent the last hour reading through this whole thread and I must say your tanks are amazing! I'm speechless, definitely made my day at work a lot more enjoyable. Now I just want to get home and work on mine. Thank you for sharing your time/experiences with us. :)

Thanks, glad I could brighten you work day, lol. I find other peoples' tank threads informative and inspiring, so I try to return the favor with mine. I am glad you like the system.

its crazy how much room that stag took up. looks alot better

Yeah, I had contemplated moving the stag out for a while, I have had it for so long and fragged it so many times. Ultimately, I decided that area would look nicer with a range of different colored sps.

*In this case scientific is my gut feeling and for my viewing pleasure

@Wspangler keeps PMing me about my Orphek Atlantik V3 settings so I figured I would post my settings.

The Orphek Atlantik V3 is 19" over the waterline of my frag tank

Here are the channel makeups:

Channel 1:

Channel 2:

Channel 3:

Channel 4:

I hope that helps everyone and helps reduce the number of PM's @Wspangler sends me on a daily basis

Did you really want to start your light cycle at Midnight?

It should likely read like this for channel 1.

0000- 0%
0700- 1%
1300- 90%
1800- 5%
2000- 0%
2200- 0%
2300- 0%

The 1% begins the cycle for the day.

The way that you have it the light begins running at midnight and ramps from 0% to 30% at 0700hrs.

Just asking. :)

Holy cow, I had no clue I messed that up. Thanks for catching it. It's a wonder the corals in the frag tank are not ticked off. Going to make that fix!

First off wow, what a beautiful set up very nice work. Your fish selection is gorgeous, and corals spectacular. I've been thinking about going with the Orphek Atlantiks on my new tank. What are your impressions? It looks really nice over your frag tank!

Thanks! So far I really like the Atlantik. Its been up for a full 3 months and the corals under it have very good color, I have no complaints.

So, I once had a WWC Bounce mushroom that looked like this:

However I coveted it too much and the reef gods were angered and they took their vengeance.

An unknown ailment took hold of the mother mushroom and 4 baby bounces at the same time. In an attempt to save the mother bounce I cut it into 4s.

What follows may be too graphic and disturbing to some viewers, caution is advised. All that is left are these glowing green blobs:

The good news is that the green blobs have stabilized and I have seen signs of improvements. Some areas are darkening, texture is returning and I have seen some flecks of gold return so I am hopeful most of them will recover.
