I love the skimmer itself but the microbubbles are through my water column. I tried many tweaks & the only thing that works is shutting it off. Unless someone has a fix it's getting to the point that I'll just be running it at night time. Anyone have an idea what to do? Thanks in advance.

How long has the skimmer been running for?
Setting up the skimmer before a bubble trap in the sump is a sure way to get rid of microbubbles. Also, slowing down the flow through the sump also tends to help as it allows more time for bubbles to surface and pop

I did 2 things to mine. 1) put a piece of tape covering that little hole between the intake and return chamber. Worked great! 2) Added filter floss to return chamber. Worked great also!

This causes the collection cup to overflow so how did you pull that off?

I never had micro bubbles when I was running mine, but I did have GFO and Purigen and a filter pad shoved in mine, so I bet that helped!
