I turn off the pumps and most of the mysis stays in the feeding dish. I will try to get a video of my seahorses eating from the station.

I use a funnel that is attached to a cup, to weigh it down. I attach with rubber bands and put a piece of foam in the neck of the funnel so the shrimp don't fall through. I take it out and clean it every day before feeding.

Here's my homemade feeding station... It's rather primitive but they love the hitches and it gets the job done ;)

Here is what I've come up with. It is simply an aquarium deco plant with the base inverted and the stalks reinserted upside down. My ponies love it..and happily the mandarins have come to enjoy it as well! .. They will all go hang out and "beg"! lol

Thanks Guys, :) it's alot of fun to see them take to it so well! When they see my tweezers hit the water w the shrimp, they all stampede to the trough, Love how smart these little guys are :) Forgot to mention.. the plastic "dish" was clear before , but they had trouble seeing the mysis in there, so I painted it with Krylon Fusion ( reef safe) the black you see in the pics.

I use a half of a clam shell. It is bowl shaped and I wedge it between some of the branches on the branching rock. They love it. I simply use a turkey baster to gently squeeze the mysis into the dish (shell). The trick is to rinse the mysis in RO but then drain the RO and add tank water for a minute or two before using the baster. Then the mysis doesn't float out of the dish. The seahorses seem to like it and will check the dish periodically.

I am setting up a seahorse tank. And the thought of a feeding station crossed my mind today. Would be nice to have something that would contain most of the mysis. Would save a little on the tank. Anyone have any ideas? These are all great ideas by the way.
Sorry for high jacking you thread. Just thought it would be better than starting a new one.
