Ive not read a lot of users with that light here on r2r
IMO, your best bet would be to invest or borrow a par or lux meter to set the intensity. Color of the light has been debated since corals have been imported, Metal halide t12 compacts etc. 10k 14k 20k etc. And the same corals seem to grow well under each equally.
Lux meters are cheap and effective.

Looking at the par map here, Id look at starting low, and slowly increasing. 30% as a start.
Im a bit different in my color belif. Set the color ratio by eye, and make the tank look like you want, then adjust intensity. Here's why, 14k kelvin 10k 20k etc have all been hotly debated by aquarist since we started the hobby. the exact same corals are grown successfully under each. The same can also be said for intensity but theres a bit more to intesnity IMO.
But all reputable sources seem to agree acclimation is key.
