So with nopox , yes it does work , you can control your phos and nitrate , but will be going off as this was not the reason as suspected for brown acro . Phos at 1ml a day stays 0.04< and nitrate 1ppm< . I did start skipping every 2nd day and seems my acro is colouring up .

No testing error , Magnesium and Ca does seems to drop both , I dosed 6 spoons seachem within 8 days trying to up it , now still at 1320.

Well, to beat a dead horse, its testing error. No ifs, ands or buts. Please don't overly rely on the assumed accuracy of hobby kits.

Magnesium CANNOT EVER drop 100 ppm in a week, unless you did a massive water change with a low magnesium mix. For that to happen, the tank would have to have consumed nearly 1000 ppm of calcium and 127 dKH of alkalinity. If it didn't do that or more (and that seems incredibly unlikely) then there's no sink for 100 ppm magnesium.

@Randy Holmes-Farley i see now what you meen , i have been getting wrong results as to up the mg from 1260 to 1320 would have taken alot more than 8 spoons . I still need alot to learn , but that test kit is way off then as seachem calculater shows to raise it from 1260-1320 21 teaspoons will be added .
So is it correct to say that my mg and ca i dose the same amount of teaspoons while kh is double the teaspoons ?

Thanks so far for the corrections and the advice to everyone

Imperfect kit and or testing protocol. It is very common.

To maintain levels, the magnesium dose will be far lower than the calcium dose. :)

For magnesium, I wouldn't recommend the Red Sea. Many people have problems with it.

Yes please find another mg test kit. Red sea kit dang near killed the tank. I was getting readings as low as 690 when in actually I was well about 1500. And yes I know the tread is old.
