Using vanilla extract in this one can overpower the rest of the cookie sometimes so the wife and I use vanilla paste as a sub! I think the secret is how you mix the baking soda!
EDIT: We also go without the nuts.

Will salt water has just become my newest hobby but my other hobby is I raised Great Danes and I also own a couple of Clydesdale teams and in my spare time I rescue horses from slaughterhouses and find them new homes

Very cool stuff. I tried tying a few flies as a kid and just didn't have the patience. Those look great!

I'm an avid waterfowler (ducks and geese), but I otherwise hunt small game and shoot clay targets (mainly sporting clays). Was a deer hunter, but just don't prefer sitting for hours by myself.

Your daughter looks like a pro, she must have a good teacher. How old is she? I am planning on building a wall for my girlfriends daughter of two soon as she is really starting to excel in climbing things that she shouldn't be, so why not give her a wall she will be encouraged to climb? Just hoping she doesn't take it as a pass to climb whatever she wants more so than she does now.

Ha ha, thanks. She's seven and unfortunately she isn't a huge fan of it. She thinks it's fun, but I don't foresee her begging me to go anytime soon.

A wall in the house would most definitely be fun. If everything goes according to planned, one wall of my house will be a tank and the other a bouldering wall.

Very cool. When I was a kid I would find leftover lumber on my dad's job sites and use a magnifying glass to burn words or pictures into them... they didn't turn out quite as well as yours though for some reason

Ham Radio ( Amateur Radio ), Model Railroading and Music well not so much now I really really really miss playing my Drums. No room for them and I don't think the neighbors would like it vey much.

Another model railroader? Definitely hard having two wonderfully expensive hobbies lol as most reefers seem to have. Also love BBQing every day I can!

I inherited two pet rats from my sister when I was a kid... one ended up dying and the other went crazy after. he ended up biting his own tail off so we had him put down.
