Hi everyone,
Ive been quarantining my yellow belly hippo and now for the last two weeks he has had these bumps on his face. He is in hypo salinity at 1.008 for 4 weeks now. He is approximately 6 inches and i have had him for 3 years. The qt tank is a 100 gallon 5ft tank and my sailfin tang, two clowns and argus wrasse are in there with him and are unaffected.

The reason i qt'd him is because I'm upgrading to a bigger tank and wanted to be sure that the tank will be disease free.

These bumps are all larger than 1mm and the largest being almost 3mm by his nose.

All advice is appreciated!

From the markings I see, thats ICH that he has. Just guessing of course, but sure looks like it from that side shot.

I also thought that it was ich but these spots have been there for almost two weeks. The one on his face i can visibly track that its getting bigger.

If they are white raised spots, its ICH. They can get bigger.
Get another closer side shot if you can.

I agree with humble. If the spots have been in the same exact place for two weeks, its more likely lympho or possibly an infection of some sort... though, I think lympho is more likely.
