Using ApexBrowse

ApexBrowse uses a master-detail interface, similar to that used by common Mac applications, such as Mail.

On the left side of the main window, the master view displays a list of configured controllers. An unlimited number of controllers may be configured; controllers may be organized hierarchically into folders if desired.

On the right hand side of the main window, the detail view displays detailed information about the currently-selected controller.

Getting Started

The first step to using ApexBrowse is to perform controller discovery; to do so, click the search button in the bottom of the master view, or use 'Search for Controllers…' from the File menu. The following sheet will appear:

Controller search sheet

Controllers located on the local network will be displayed in this sheet. If at any time all expected controllers are discovered, press the OK button to automatically add the discovered controllers to the master view.

Once a controller has been discovered, it may be configured. Make a selection from the topics below to learn more.
