Controller Configuration

Controllers are updated via the detail view; to display the detail view for a controller, select the controller in the master view. The result will appear similar to the following:

Controller initial network configuration, such as port number, and, if not using DHCP for configuration, IP address, subnet mask, and default gateway, may be configured by pressing the 'Configure' button. An input sheet similar to the following will be displayed:

Enter configuration information as desired into the sheet and press the OK button to update the controller. Status messages will appear in the status area as the Apex is updated with the new settings:

The Apex will automatically reboot in order to activate the changes. If you find that you've made an error, simply press the 'Configure' button again to reconfigure after the reboot completes. The reboot normally takes about 20 seconds to complete.

To configure a controller:

  1. Select the desired controller in the master view.
  2. Press the 'Configure' button in the detail view.
  3. Enter desired network parameters in the configuration input sheet.
  4. Press the 'OK' button in the input sheet to update the controller.

The controller configuration update should complete in approximately 20 seconds.
