Toys for Kids WINNERS and photos!

Well today was the day! The shopping day and boy did we have a good time! Took us about 5hrs or so total. One cool thing was that the local news did a story on us at the church and of course REEF2REEF! Sunday will be the day the toys are given out to the families and the kids will get to see Santa! We have stockings provided by our church members and toys and candy provided by all the donators in the toy drive! Guess who will be Santa? Let's just say he might have a country boy accent! HA!

Anyway thanks again to everyone who was able to give and make all this happen. It's such an honor to be a part of such a great community of people not excluding any givers who are not members of R2R of course. The saltwater aquarium community as a whole are great people!

Ok so now for the winners. Let me explain how we drew for winners.

1. We went through and listed every name of every giver.
2. We assigned a raffle or raffle tickets for every name according to how much you donated. $25 got 2, $100 got 10 and so forth.
3. We mixed all the tickets up several times and then every time between each drawing.
4. We drew in order of prize value from lowest to highest.

Oh my gosh, that is SO amazing. I have tears in my eyes. I did not win any prizes, but I know I helped put a smile on childrens faces, and that is all that matters.
I also noticed there was exactly 100 donations (at least through the web page).
