Hey guys i just wanted share my 12gallon nano with all of you. Its been up an running for 1 year now in my office out on an oil rig. everything is stock on it. no skimmer no koralia pump. 2 CF lights on a timer. I do 2gallons water change 3times a week on the weeks i'm working. I get ocean water from 200 feet down off a sea water lift strainer valve. We are 8miles off the coast of california. This little tank is doing amazing! sorry for the terrible pix, all i have for a camera out here is my cell phone.

That is awesome! I always wondered if there was anyone that worked out on the ocean and had a reef.
Thanks for sharing your story. Tank looks great!

Thanks everyone. yeah Rev it was a very terrible thing what happened on Deep Water Horizon. During out safety meeting this week we watched some interviews of a couple of the survivors. It was amazing how many signs there were before she blew. People trying to save money and time :(

Just in case you guys wanted to see this, here are some pix of the Rig i'm on. ExxonMobil Platform Heritage. We do the most oil production than any other rig in you the US. scary cuz we do 5 times more oil than the Deep Water Horizon.

Thanks Everyone. Space is very limited in that tank now and everything seems to grow so fast. If I'm having a problem with a coral in my Main DT at home i'll just bring that coral out to the rig and BAM it pops right back. Yeah I tested the water once about 6months ago and it was spot on natural sea water parameters. since then I've been bad and never take my test kits out there anymore.
