    It does not look like a new polyp to me. They open and look like smaller versions of the adult polyps pretty early on. I've never seen something like that.

    If it were a better pic it would help, but based solely on your description could be zoapox. Furan-2 multiple dips is claimed to work. There is a ton of info if you google zoa pox, maybe you can find some better pics to compare with yourself. Good luck.

    Sounds like a fairly new tank? Usually takes some time to stable out and no coral likes instability.

    Btw, I agree with @Sabellafella. Some zoas eat and others don't. I personally broadcast feed with LRS Reef Frenzy and with Coral Frenzy.
