I’m currently using one light time tunnel black box over my 92g corner tank. I chose light time tunnel because the lense angle is 120 degrees and the fixture is a bit longer then most- and lighting a corner tank is more difficult. I have the light turned all the way up and everything is growing great but the light is just too white.

As far as color, I realized there are only 4 royal blue led on this unit and mostly 470nm blues.
I was thinking if getting 2 vipar spectras which seem to have a lot more royal blue. And having 2 fixtures I can have better control over the light since I won’t be turning them all the way up. Will swapping to 2 vipar spectras work better as far as giving the coral more pop? Or is there a better option? Also I am not planning on any “high end” lights because growth wise the black box has been great.
Thanks for the advice!

Viparspectra, as tested my BRS have arguably best spectrum (at 100B:30W) of all the black boxes. Mounting height you're looking at 12-16".

Are there better options? Sure, how much you looking to spend?

I recently switched to ViparSpectras from a different black box and the spectrum is much better than I have seen with other black boxes out there.

I just put a 300W Vipar Spectra (essentially like 2 of the smaller VS lights in one fixture) on my 36" tank about a month ago (my first LED). Spectrum and intensity are great, but there was significant shadowing so I swapped half of the original 90* lenses with 120* lenses and that seems to have helped a lot (but spread is still not as good as my T5 setup was).

My Visparspectra 4 years now, just transfer to my upgrade.
Have grown everything well, including maxima and acros.
Running stock, no changes,

Thanks for the replies. @Uncle99 nice looking tank! I think what I will do is go with 2 viparspectras and place them next to each other. Lighting a corner tank is not the easiest. Thanks for the help everyone!

Since this is going onto a 92g corner tank which measures 48" x 34" x 24" would I be okay with a single 300w fixture or better off going with (2) 165W lights? I am afraid if I use the single 300w light the front and back of the tank will be shadowed. With (2) 165W lights I can fit them aiming front to back side by side (if this makes sense). I just don't want to deal with shadowing which is why I have always been cautious with lenses especially 90 degrees.

Thanks again!
