So I decided to keep it simple..

on its second week...

i cycled “reactor” media with quick start in a bucket prior to adding to the tank... expected a little bit of a phosphate rise and got one..

the first week I ran Chemiclean elite, but decided the GFO was causing more harm than the phosphates would so I pulled it..
Animals were much happier when I pulled it..

i broke down my ADA 60F and had a 16w x 32l x 12h tank made of 3/8 Starfire glass..

i live in a Valley 10 miles from a Titan V launch pad. I’ve had my Lagoon 25 split a seam.. this tank is built! I also wanted to try and get as close to 100L as possible

Do you find that Mushrooms do better and have better color in low light? You mount the Kessil high and I see you also have some acrylic cover the tank (to reduce light?).

Yep.. low low light, and I’m feeding..
They get a decent UV dose from the panels at night

I’m actually acclimating everything. Just got in a shipment from Vietnam.. went half on it, and they need to be nursed a little..

Fragged and split 4 colonies today.. 16 more to go. Will be a full tank
