Good evening everyone,
I have recently opened a store in Southern California and just continue to add more tanks as I see fit! This is the start of my “nano” CSB anemone tank / propagation tank. I had a customer trade me 70$ In coral for this little tank, and we picked up the sump for 20$! Don’t kill me over everything this is all very budget friendly as we are not rich.
I haven’t decided on what light to use but more than likely will go with a Ai 16 or if I see fit in the budget a XR15.
can’t decide on what pump to run either but probably a very small sicce pump.
Will have a skimmer and that’s probably it besides a heater for equipment.
Tank is 18x18x8 and sump is 18x18x18 (I think 18 tall can’t remember off the top of my head!)
Can’t decide on substrate or not yet, I have been using gravel in the other store frag tanks and have really enjoyed it.
The stand is super simple, nothing fancy. Considering painting it and put a “top” on it but I think I’m just gonna leave it be.
Planning to have this full of water (a whopping probably 30 gallons) in a week or 2 and will throw in some live rock in the sump. If I put gravel in I will let it cycle for a week or 2 and then start adding a few CSB’s!
Wish I documented more of the builds in the store so I could post em up for you guys to read about, we are building a 1200 gallon grow out system in the back room so hopefully will have a forum on that when we get a little more through with it!
