Finally getting everything back together and organized after getting the tank fully set up!

also my mother just retired after 44 years as an American Airlines flight attendant and was offered the opportunity to buy a couple beverage carts. So I got one and will be using it as my work space for fragging and bagging.

Latest project completed : repair ATI dimmable sunpower fan (and subsequently the control board buttons…)

So a buddy of mine gave me his old dimmable 4 bulb ati sunpower. He didn’t use it because the fan broke and it wouldn’t stay cool. So I decidedto take it into the Lab to replace it. Pretty easy and straight forward job. Got it up and running with a 5 dollar fan and some quick solder work. Upon putting it back together apparently one of the controller buttons got caught on the aluminum outer sleeve and snapped off the control board. Shoot. That’s a little out of my skill level so I made a call to ATI to order a replacement, 4-8 weeks out at minimum for a new board. Well, I guess it’s DIY time.

All said and done it works! Guess I had less faith in myself than deserved.

Thanks for showing your fix for this. I knocked a couple of buttons off of mine long ago and never thought about just replacing the buttons instead of ordering the new controller. Looks like the box of switches you purchased is only about $11 on Amazon. Guess I'll be ordering that tonight.

Yea if you can do basic soldering it isn’t anything special, they tried to tell me they don’t make the buttons anywhere.

Just tested nitrates. 2.5ppm

threw a mysis block in there to try out the frozen feeder and also watch flow. Got a better Video . Very happy with how it’s coming together
