Sadly this is the first time ordering off battle corals. This thing showed up with polyp extension in the bag! These corals are easily the healthiest I have ever received.

A touch off topic - how are your nitrate readings with Mastertronic over time? Mine have never tested above 5 despite having nitrate 10-15x higher -.-

Terrible, I have the same problem. Mine got up to about 48-50 but it was still reading 4-5. I found that my vent syringe was clogged yesterday so I'm assuming that caused the 45. Hanna showed 20.3 which I verified with a reference solution.

I have a magnetic stirrer that I use for mixing powders/reagents and if I take the nitrate B vial out and mix it manually for a few minutes, the results are much more accurate. There's a beta software update out now that I am testing that seems to help some. After a few days it still reads about 14. Hopeful they will find a solution, but still not convinced.

My tanks in the garage so that’s the biggest help. It will peak upwards on 8.5 some days but rarely ever under 8.2. Swing is normally .15 in a day.

It's just a cloud update. I put in a ticket on their site and they responded that they had pushed the update out a few days later.

Got mine yesterday and it's doing great. Almost immediate polyp extension. Also at first very green/blue but over the course of the day the colors got more complex with some cool red/purple spots. Will post later tonight.
