You got pictures of your coral?

did you do a diagnostic work up of your tank?
Yea, its looks like the Rainbow is hanging in there, it looked better in the picture. This tank has been a battle and looking at getting icp test done when i get some spare cash. Have to pay the account and i owe on my taxes this year for the first time. But looks like there is some poly. now as they seem to come and go. But on the left side looks like the are some, but it also looks like it shrank on the top also.

alk is 8.5
nitrates 15
po3 = 0.02
calc. = 430
temps 79-79.5
and ph goes from 7.8 to 8.3

I know you’ve probably read a million of these threads and what not cause I have. But first thing I’d do is get two ICP tests. Test RODI water. And then test your tank water. You seem like you know what your doing but I always think I have a handle on stuff and then I find out that I let something slip or I didn’t think of it. I had a torch die on me even tho everything was doing good. I was going to take the torch and just toss it and call it a loss but then I ended up getting a ICP test. Come to find out I was deficient in allot of trace elements which I believe is the reason my torch died. I then started dosing and in specific trace elements and my whole tank did a 360 within 2 weeks. Not saying trace elements could be the problem but a Icp test will sure sniff out anything in the water that could be killing corals. I know Adam at battle corals keeps his corals in high lighting so make sure that’s all good along with flow. I’m curious to find out what’s wrong

FWIW, I normally use the ATI ICP-OES test and it includes tank water and RODI water.

You don’t have to pay all that much for ICP testing. Reef labs is the test kit I get. You can order it on saltwater aquarium.com it’s like 30 or 40 bucks and it comes with prepaid shipping label. And they compare test results if you have multiple and tell you what to do

And here we go! Growing this in my 40B satellite tank off my 220g grow out. Under a Neptune sky with attached schedule. Big water change so ORP is a touch low but usually 300-320. Running all for reef, kalk, no pox, ozone, carbon, gfo, 2 part as needed, strontium, 40 watt UV,
and co2 scrubber. Coral grow using red sea’s AB+ most every night with .070 Po3 26.7 No4. Also for you viewing please a ICP with some high levels of tin.

Best of luck to everyone and cheers to happy and healthy coral!

Man I am super glad this one has done better for you! Looks like some pink in the tips wanting to peek through a little as well. Should see more of that as it blossoms.

Thanks! Had a go at a frag swap yesterday! was cool! Thanks @F i s h y for the invite! Only drygoods vendor there! Too hard to compete for packaged goods.

Those stands were miss-prints or old designs that didn't make it to you. I also like the UV reactive filament.
I used the white UV filament for the sign above and used strip blacklights in the sign so the lettering and UPC code glowed. Drew many folks at the show but Fishy's You-fill-Ya brought more.
