Currently dealing with aptasia blowing up, actually spotted one in this picture right next to the frag under that front part. Super annoying, filefish coming to the rescue on Wednesday when he's done with QT.

Those colors are crazy! Mine is dull under halides but turns blue and red under my reef brites.

Same here, I’ll do a more daylight spectrum picture next month. Definitely not as perty lol, im waiting on the new quanta bars to ship and swapping half to the daylight spectrum. Will aim for the same par but additional “white” light, will see how it goes.

What are you running for lights ? I kinda bleached mine out. I think it likes a little lower par.

Radions g6 blues and quanta meso blue bars, peak period is 6hrs starting right in the morning around 600 par. I notice lighter colors when my nutrients drop below 10ppm no3/1ppm po4. Honestly like nutrients a bit higher, and think sticks do too. Combat the darker colors with more par.

When I swap my bars ill do a new proper spectrum reading and par. Can post specifics

Mine was under G6 Blues with 4 hours of about 500 par and didnt like it. My phos was higher though running about it about .3 my nits 10 ppm. Take the picture with a camera or just your phone ? Just love the look of yours ,its awesome !

daylight phone no filter, just broke off the front section and basically reglued on top of that aptasia. Going all in on the cutting theory for this fella, didn't like where it wasn't encrusting from that aptasia stinging/shadowing.

Now i wanna break mine off too! Lol i agree your colors are awesome! Mine is also meh under whites/daylight but the colors show up under full blues. And i think mine is getting no more than 400s in par after I moved it but its coloring up better than it was at higher par.

Lol thanks, will see how breaking up the frag works out in the end. If this was day 1 again when I originally cut it into a few pieces I would have spread them out a bit more. Fun test though so far encrusting has been solid.
