I have a Brown serpent star, which I thought was more of a scavenger than predator. I thought they could only eat sick and dying things?
Maybe. I've stayed away from Serpent and Brittle stars because they can become predatory if they get hungry.

I could be wrong but I believe the first one is either a garf bonsai or tubbs stellata montipora. The red one appears to be a bubble gym or forrest fire montipora digitata. If that's not what they are, you'd probably still like the ones I mentioned. I just added them to my tank.

Yeah, I might banish him to the sump, or bring back to the LFS. I want things like cleaner shrimp, and from what I've read so far, it's not looking good for the serpent star. I'm 99% sure that snail was dead before he ate it though.

Not sure if I've told you guys but I've got a Hanna p04 tester coming in and I've got phosbond in the filter. Still haven't spent my liveaquaria money. What should I get?
What type of suggestions are you looking for? Food - krill pellets (small), Reef Nutrition Prime or Ocean Nutrition Formula 2 flakes.

Wait are those pictures on some sort of....paper? How do you get them to come out of your phone? Can you still use your fingers to zoom in and put?
You too!

Any recommendations for positioning the Raja Rampage? I was thinking here

Make sure you give it at least 6”-7” inches from the other corals and consider growth when mounting. Wicked long sweepers that will take out anything that they touch.

Thanks Tim, I'm glad I didn't second guess myself on that one lol
It could be the Garf Bonsai but the growth looks more Digitata to me. I don't think the Garf is a tabling acro. I meant Tubbs Stellata originally. :beaming-face-with-smiling-eyes:

Tubbs comes in a couple of different growth forms and I believe the Digitata is the tabling and branching variety.

I hope so! The coloration is great and I love the contrast.

20-25 years from now some young smart a**** will be making fun of your one dimensional phone pictures because every picture will be in holograms that can be viewed in 360 degrees and gives off the sound and smell of when it was taken. I’ll be sitting in my wheelchair with my adult diaper on in the nursing home with drool running down my chin chuckling. I meant to include you in this @Nor'easter Reefer !

My takeaway from that is, in some roundabout way, Kevin, you just sort of called me young, and for that, I'm eternally grateful

Hold your horses, I thought you didn’t have kids or is that play set for you?

Build huge glass walls around it, fill it with water and cover it with encrusting montis. We can see which one wins Walker!
