I'm in the same boat, I have a 200 gallon tank that I can't set up until we buy a house, but it was recommended to me to start with something smaller to get some practical knowledge since I've been researching for years. We set up a 20 gallon nano in August and I'm interested to see where your journey takes you! Larger tanks are more stable, smaller tanks have less/cheaper equipment, and thus easier to fix if (when) something goes wrong. Tons of pros to either option, plenty of cons as well!
i am going to end up running both hahaWelcome!!
How about both?! Double the knowledge????
Budget is around 10-12kWelcome! I think it comes down to budget really. You will definitely want to upgrade in the future.
