it’s really true!! the years i spent away i just would hang out on youtube watching other people’s corals grow! lol! when i have my own place and further along in my career, i can try this again. Maybe i’ll srick around the boards and just live vicariously until then... I do have two freshwater tanks that will keep me afloat until then <3 thanks for the love!!

I didn't realize you live in Valencia! Wish we could be neighbors and share the same sump, feed each others fish while the other is away, make coral food together... I just need a partner to manage this all with! Hahaha!

My biggest stressor is that I travel for weeks at a time and I can't find anyone to look after my tanks while I'm gone! The fresh tanks do fine on their own, they are 2 years old... But I've stopped going on my week long camping trips since I set this reef up. But I know I will miss it too much when it's gone. What do i really do? Eeeeeep!

I thought about finding a caretaker... I have a friend who is also a reef-keeper but I am not one to ask for favors, I would most certainly want to pay him for his time and fuel costs... and I don't have the budget for it really. Plus a lot of times when I am camping, I am out of service range...

Thanks for talking to me about it, it actually is more comforting to make decisions that way than just boggling my own mind. And it feels great to see that I actually made some friends on here to give me the time and heart... <3
