I remember all my friends had nes , sega genesis .

later came
SNES , PlayStation , but those were the days . Kids played outside . The street lights coming on were the warning to get home before mom yelled .
I never had any gaming system growing up .
and didn’t buy one until about 10 years ago I bought a Xbox .
Sold it as it was better at collecting dust . I would rather test fish water

I am
Feeling older being born in the end of 1979
Ha ha yeah also when I was young, even though I'm in different country ,when street lights came on I had to go in lol
And my first computer was a commodore 64 and had cassette deck that had to spend 15 minutes loading side a of cassette then when it loaded you could get to first few levels then had to stop playing and turn cassette tape over and load side b waiting another 15 minutes or so lol

I only had the nes, genesis and playstation. The game boy belonged to my brother, I did get to play with it for short amount of time. I miss the days of outside being safe. People here race down residential roads while kids are playing. I don't get it.

I agree, testing fish water was always fun for me. Even in my youth.

No I didn't have disk as even in 1980's the commodore 64 just with cassette tapes was super expensive like £ 500 and to get one that took disks and to buy games on disks was so expensive so had to wait ages to load game on side a then play few levels then load side b then continue playing 15 or so minutes later ,was tedius lol

Apparently introduction price in america was $ 595 equilevelant to $ 1500.00 in todays money .
I didnt have commodore 64 in second picture. I had a later model which was more streamlined but still big huge thing with cassette deck and joystick lol

and they were so crappy , I wasn’t interested at that time .

remember the typing machines that counted Words per minute ?
Little red keyboards with a screen similar to etch a sketch

Umm not sure about typing machines that counted but I do remember getting bought a typewriter for Christmas once lol.
Imagine giving a kid a present of a type writer, they probably say what's that and throw it back at you lol.
I just edited above post with price in america when introduced at $ 600 equivalent to $ 1600.00 today and I think ps5 and all the xbox are so expensive at fraction of price of computers years ago lol

Ha ha I'm sure that's not true and if anything would make your nation brighter as getting extra education as over here we start at 5 year old and legal age to finish is 16 but ovbiously can continue on in university and do degrees if we want .
Same as driving a car is 17 here and yours is 15 I believe so swings and round abouts I guess
