R2R has been my go to resource getting into the hobby. Inherited the equipment from a family friend, the rock fish and coral all came from one guy breaking down his tank to upgrade. This tank is aqueon 120 gal dual overflow with a 40 gal sump, reef octopus protein skimmer, two original hydra 20's with AI director, and artica chiller. I've had the pleasure of cycling with coral and fish which has been a little stressful, but happy to see everyone is very healthy while the levels normal out. I went through a bad dyno stage and it has calmed down considerably, now I'm getting long green algae throughout so I'm prepping for a CUC. Chaeto went in a few days ago and I dosed with Microbacter for two weeks. Planning on letting the tank do its thing for another couple weeks, then start incorporating more fish and coral. Let me know your thoughts or if you have any suggestions!
