Okay I upgraded my tank from 75 gallon to 120 gallon I want to know if the weight of a 120 can hold on 75 gallon stand

I'm guessing the 75 gallon tank has the same exact dimensions as the 120 gallon other than the 120 being taller? if thats the case I'd confirm with the stand manufacturer and see that the same stand can support the added weight.

I would bet that they would not approve. Stand manufactures do no overbuild their stands, because that costs more.

Do 120g come in that footprint? I though 120s were typically 24" deep?

If this is a standard mass-produced stand, it is very unlikely that a 75-gallon stand should be recommended for use with a 120-gallon for reasons listed above by @Bad Company and @Jivatma .

If the tank is larger than the top of the stand, it will not provide proper support for the tank.

You could possibly reinforce the stand to make it work, but this is probably more risky than just building a custom stand (such as this design).
