1200 gallon total gallon system.

So after 15 years away from the "hobby" I have Ben working with my LFS, Picaso. I am currently working on a system that will have a total of approximately 1200 gallons. I would love to post a bunch of construction pictures of the work being done by me and Clint at picaso here in KC. Please let me know what kind of pictures and info you all would like and I would be happy to document the progress this far. I have been doing a fair amount of work to this point. I am new to the social media area of the hobby, but would really like to get In to the social side. I really believe that there is a lot that can be gained from the input from all of the people that have been in the hobby for multiple years.
At this point I can say this system will 120" x36"x 30"plus sump and extra water storage. I am planning on a mixed reef. The tank should be installed the week of 12-12- 21. System will be all neptune. Lots of automation. Please let me know of any pictures and info you all would like.
Again I am new to the social media side of this hobby. I would love to see what this turns in to!

Welcome to Reef 2 Reef. There are a bunch of folks here with some massive tanks. Once you get into the monster tank size there are some additional considerations around humidity control and power diversity/backups to consider. Other than that its lots of fun.

I was looking at the drawings for the tank. It is 120"x42"x30. This will be going in my basement. Right now I am working on wiring, plumbing and framing in a couple new walls. I will be doing green rock with frp panels over the top.
Most of the equipment will be neptune systems.
The skimmer and sump are from RK2.
I have built a custom table for the sump and skimmer. It is pressure treated lumber wrapped with pvc. All joints and gaps are sealed with red silicone.
The sump is PVC and black glue was used to hold everything together, so I decided to add the red silicone to the sump so it will match the table.

The water tanks are 2 200 gallon capacity tanks. 1 will be for water changes, and the other will be used to add water volume.
