August 2019 - Final Build Update

After may months of Behind the scene work, here comes the final "Build" update

Fast forward: The Tank has been full of water for a year. Salt since October.
the 50 Gallon holding tank in the back suffered a human error and cracked, so I upgraded to a 75 Gal ;)

-3x Radion g4 Pro units installed, and hood modified for electronics.
-Added AFS with Printed funnel for easy feeding
-Added Apex Lunar LEDs for the moon cycles
-Added Dosers for Alk and Cal

Tank has been cycled and is lightly stocked with Corals for the past 5 months.
It took a decent amount of time to level out all of the parameters, Softies are going strong, and LPS are steadily growing.

October 2020 - 2 Years Later!

Today is tanks 2 year anniversary!
As you can all imagine this past year has been a tumultuous one.
As we all spent more time indoors, I am sure more of us had more time to spend on our tanks.
With funds short this year, I have focused on fine tuning and stabilization.
But mainly just enjoying the tank and its journey.

Below are some milestone in the past year. No expensive skimmers, major system upgrades, or new fish.
Just some decent quality time and thought into what I want the long term goals to be.

Some update since August 2019

-
Added all for Reef dosing regimen (for large tanks)
- Zoa Growth has increased exponentially!
- First SPS going strong (Green Monster)

-Added a small mandarin goby who is now HUGE!

-Installed new FMM for redundancy and Overflow control
- RODI Overflowed causing a cascade failure with of 30+ gal on floor

Yes!! I had 5 lps that had polyps bail out over the past year, so it forced me to rethink the balance of nutrients and lower nitrate and phos. NO3 and PO4 are at their "ocean level" readings for the past 3 months, and the all for reef dosing solution has proven positive results in the tank. The Green monster frag was the "test canary" for that, and it started encrusting well! So when funding allows, there will be more corals in the near future. I will update this thread soon after.
